This book was recommended to me by a doctor friend of mine. 

The Blue Zones is about author Dan Buettner’s journey across the world in search of “The Blue Zones”, the pockets around the world where the longest lived people inhabit. Together with a team of professionals, Dan interviewed these centenarians and offered us invaluable insights to their lives; unveiling the secrets to longevity. 

While it is informative, Dan’s stories of these centenarians are inspiring. What I find interesting is that, despite the different “Blue Zones”, they shared many common grounds, such as healthy eating habits, routines, the role of family, friends and community. 

I am confident most readers will find something valuable to apply to their own lifestyle.
